2014-2015 School Year

Our key mission is to promote an environment at school where teachers and administrators can do their best work and our students can do their best learning. Administrators and teachers everywhere recognize the important contributions parents make toward a child’s success in school. There is no question about it - success at school begins at home.~

One of the most important components of a good school is a strong partnership between the home and school, where we work together for the best interest of our children. The close partnership between home and school is one of the unique strengths of the Rita Miller Elementary School.

Throughout the year parents have the opportunity to develop that partnership in a variety of ways; joining the PTA, volunteering in the classroom and on field trips and helping out at school events such as the Book Fair and Movie Night. It is important to your child that you are involved at school as it sends a message to your child that education and school is an important part of your life too.

Together, we can make a difference at our school!
