The Kenneth H. Morgan Media Center

The Rita E. Miller Library Media Center is open during the school day and is located on the second floor of the building.  It serves over 400 students in grades K-2, the staff and the Miller community.  The collection has almost 9,000 titles, including: books, periodicals, audiobooks, DVDs and videos that are maintained by the Destiny Online Catalog.  The collection has been developed to support the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and to foster a love of reading.

Our staff includes a part-time certified library teacher and a part-time library assistant.  The library teacher collaborates with classroom teachers to develop projects integrating curriculum and information literacy skills.  Students are introduced to the Super 3 (Plan-Do-Review), an abbreviated information-problem solving model for K-2 students to use in school and everyday life.  Students come to the library every week at a set time to listen to a story and for book exchange.
